This Assistance Listing 20.281 created in August 2025 was included in the previous ALN 20.205, please refer to former ALN 20.205 for FY24 and FY25 financial obligations. The new Assistance Listing 20.281 will be utilized by DOT at the start of FY 2026.

What Benefits Are Offered?
Funding for the construction, reconstruction, and rehabilitation of nationally significant transportation facilities within, adjacent to, or accessing Federal and Tribal lands. Projects on Tribal transportation facilities may receive 100% Federal share, and at least one project submitted by the National Park Service for a unit with 3,000,000+ annual visitors will be funded.

Other Criteria: Eligible entities for the NSFLTP are those eligible to receive funds under the Federal Lands Access Program (23 U.S.C. ยง 204), the Federal Lands Transportation Program (23 U.S.C. ยง 203), the Tribal Transportation Program (23 U.S.C. ยง 202), and the Federal Lands Planning Program (323 U.S.C. ยง 201), State, county, or unit of local government may apply only if sponsored by an eligible Federal Land Management Agency (FLMA) or federally recognized Tribe, Project must be a single continuous project, Project must meet Federal lands transportation facility, Federal lands access transportation facility, and/or Tribal transportation facility definitions per 23 U.S.C. ยง 101, Project must demonstrate completion of all activities required under the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA), Estimated construction costs equal to or greater than $12,500,000
