Department Of Housing And Urban Development, Assistant Secretary For Fair Housing And Equal Opportunity
To assist organizations that are regional and local, community based, and National, that develop, implement, carry out, or coordinate programs and/or activities to prevent or eliminate discriminatory housing practices as prohibited by the Fair Housing Act (42 U.S.C. 3601-3619), or State or local laws that provide substantially equivalent rights and remedies for alleged discriminatory housing practices.

Other Criteria: non-profit organizations, Qualified Fair Housing Enforcement Organizations (QFHOs), Fair Housing Enforcement Organizations (FHOs), private nonprofit organizations seeking to build capacity in fair housing enforcement activities, QFHOs sponsoring creation of new organizations in unserved or underserved areas (for ENOC component)
