The overall goal of the Targeted Airshed Grant program is to reduce air pollution in the nation’s nonattainment areas with the highest levels of ozone and fine particulate matter (PM2.5) ambient air concentrations. Who Is Eligible?
Region: nation's nonattainment areas with the highest levels of ozone and PM2.5 ambient air concentrations
Other Criteria: air pollution control agencies, as defined by Section 302(b) of the Clean Air Act, have submitted a state or tribal implementation plan to EPA to attain and/or maintain the NAAQS for either ozone and/or PM2.5 within one or more nonattainment areas listed in the open notice of funding opportunity (NOFO), have an active air program grant under Sections 103 or 105 of the Clean Air Act to carry out those responsibilities
