The Quality Samples Program is designed to encourage the development and expansion of export markets for U.S. agricultural commodities by assisting U.S. entities in providing commodity samples to potential foreign importers to promote a better understanding and appreciation for the high quality of U.S. agricultural commodities.
Jargon-free version
Helps agricultural trade organizations send small samples of their products to potential foreign buyers. Participants can get reimbursed for the cost of the samples and their domestic transport to the export port.

Other Criteria: private or government entity (excluding FAS Posts), demonstrated role and interest in exporting U.S. agricultural commodities, focuses on processors and manufacturers rather than consumers, projects should benefit an entire industry or commodity rather than a specific company or product, projects should focus on developing a new market or promoting a new use for the U.S. product, required to provide technical assistance to the recipients of their commodity samples
