Funding for a wide range of housing-related projects and programs aimed at addressing unmet housing needs in local communities, including the development and preservation of affordable rental and ownership housing (including ADUs), permanent supportive housing, assistance for the homeless, accessibility modifications, and efforts to rehabilitate foreclosed homes. Funding may be provided as grants or low-interest loans.

Other Criteria: Public Agency, Entitlement Local Government, Non-Entitlement Local Government, Local or Regional Housing Trust Fund delegated by the Local Government, Projects addressing unmet housing needs of local communities, Projects involving predevelopment, development, acquisition, rehabilitation, and preservation of affordable multifamily, residential live-work, rental housing, Projects involving Affordable rental and ownership housing, including Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs), for workforce earning up to 120-150% AMI, Projects related to Permanent supportive housing, including Capitalized Reserves for Services, Projects assisting persons experiencing or at risk of homelessness (e.g., rapid rehousing, rental assistance, supportive services, navigation centers, emergency shelters, permanent/transitional housing), Projects for accessibility modifications in Lower-income Owner-occupied housing, Projects to acquire and rehabilitate foreclosed or vacant homes and apartments, Projects involving fiscal incentives or matching funds from a county to a city for Affordable housing projects
