The Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWRSF) program assists public water systems in financing the cost of drinking water infrastructure projects needed to achieve or maintain compliance with Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) requirements and support to human right to water.

What Benefits Are Offered?
Financing for drinking water infrastructure projects, including construction of treatment facilities, water sources, storages, distribution systems, value appraisal, land purchase for right-of-way and easements, planning, design, administration, and construction management. Funding includes principal forgiveness (grants) up to 100% of eligible project cost, and low-interest loans (0% to half of California's average general obligation bond rate) amortized for 30 to 40 years.
