To fund economic development projects that will provide small business opportunities and empower American Indians, Alaska Natives and Native Hawaiian entrepreneurs located in disadvantaged and under-served Native American communities nationwide.

What Benefits Are Offered?

SBA-guaranteed loans offering competitive terms, lower down payments, flexible overhead, and in some cases, no collateral. Funding is available for most business purposes including real estate, equipment, working capital, debt refinancing, and specialized needs like export financing. Programs include 7(a) loans (up to $5 million for general business needs), 504 loans (up to $5.5 million for major fixed assets), and Microloans (up to $50,000). Loans are complemented by free business counseling and educational support.

Other Criteria: Operating for-profit business, Officially registered and operates legally, Sound business purpose, Ability to repay loan, Creditworthy (even those with bad credit may qualify for startup funding), For 7(a) loans: unable to obtain desired credit on reasonable terms from non-Federal/State/local government sources, For 7(a) WCP loans: at least one-year operating history, can produce timely and accurate financial statements, For 504 loans: tangible net worth of less than $20 million, average net income of less than $6.5 million (after federal income taxes for the two preceding years), qualified management expertise, feasible business plan, good character
