This program provides federal funds for research and evaluation activities that increase knowledge about the implementation and effectiveness of projects funded through the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) Program. MIECHV was created to support voluntary, evidence-based home visiting for pregnant women and families with young children up to kindergarten entry.
