Cooperative work between the Forest Service with State and local law enforcement agencies to enhance the enforcement and/or supervision of their laws or ordinances on lands within or part of any unit of the National Forest System. To increase the protection of persons and their property when visiting the National Forest System, and to utilize the opportunity to cooperate with States and Federal agencies in carrying out their specific responsibilities related to the National Forest System.
