Energy Policy and Systems Analysis

In support of this mission, DOE is seeking technical and economic analysis to produce decision-relevant information for supporting equipment that may meet future product specifications for energy-consuming equipment that will be eligible for federal tax credits and how these future product specifications will be integrated into utility, federal, state and local government-funded energy efficiency programs. This information will also inform DOE decisions about design of research, development and deployment programs for energy efficient and grid-responsive equipment types that consume energy to operate U.S. buildings. Deploying more energy-efficient equipment is key to meeting U.S. Government and DOE goals for emissions reduction, energy security, and energy affordability for the American public.
