What Is This Program?

CFAP provides direct financial assistance to producers of eligible agricultural commodities where prices and market supply chains have been impacted by COVID-19. CFAP 1 payments help to offset sales losses and increased marketing costs associated with the COVID–19 pandemic, partially compensate producers for the purchase of materials and facilities required in connection with the production and marketing of agricultural commodities, and aid in the disposal of surplus commodities from normal marketing channels that may be currently unavailable.
