Competitive grant funding and technical assistance for projects that develop innovative wood products, increase wood use in commercial/residential construction, expand wood energy systems, and modernize or increase the capacity of wood products manufacturing facilities. This includes funding for thermally led community wood energy systems, innovative wood product manufacturing facilities, and support for facilities processing byproducts of ecosystem restoration projects. Technical assistance is provided for facility/equipment improvements, operations, market opportunities, and long-term planning.
