NOAAโs Competitive Research Program (CRP), within NCCOS, funds peer-reviewed, collaborative research that produces actionable science and tools to support management and policy decisions protecting public health, coastal ecosystems, and community economies. With more than 30 years of experience, CRP addresses critical coastal challenges such as harmful algal blooms, hypoxia, coastal change, resiliency, and ecosystem-based management at regional and national scales.
