The purpose of the Program is to create school district notification systems designed to decrease the negative impacts on children who are exposed to violence and trauma by improving communication and collaboration between first responders, schools, and community resources.

Other Criteria: California School District or County Office of Education, Must have a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) registered in the federal System for Award Management (SAM), Must not have an exclusion record within SAM.gov, Must upload written Proof of Authority by the governing body granting authority to the Authorized Agent to enter the Subrecipient into Grant Subaward(s) with Cal OES
