Grants to eligible entities that enhance the credit of charter schools, allowing them to access private-sector and non-Federal capital for acquiring, constructing, and renovating facilities. This is achieved by fully or partially funding debt service reserve accounts on bond transactions, which reduces the overall cost of borrowing for charter schools.
