Financial assistance (loans and grants) for very low-income homeowners to repair, improve, or modernize their homes in eligible rural areas. Specific grants are also available for very-low and low-income homeowners whose homes were damaged in Presidentially Declared Disaster Areas since 2022.

Region: eligible rural areas, Presidentially Declared Disaster Areas (for specific grants)

Demographics: age 62 and over (for grants)

Other Criteria: very low income homeowners, low-income homeowners (for disaster grants), income based on average median income for each area, homeowners, homes damaged in Presidentially Declared Disaster Areas since 2022 (for specific disaster repair grants)
