What Is This Program?

Competitive research, education and extension grants will be awarded for the purpose of facilitating urban, indoor and emerging agricultural systems from agricultural production through marketing based on highest priority needs. These needs will be prioritized based on public input through a Federal Register Notice and guidance from the Urban Agriculture and Innovation Product Advisory Committee.

Industries: urban agriculture, indoor agriculture, emerging agriculture, food production, food harvesting, food transportation, food aggregation, food packaging, food distribution, food markets

Region: United States

Other Criteria: State agricultural experiment stations, colleges and universities, university research foundations, other research institutions and organizations, Federal agencies, national laboratories, private organizations, foundations, or corporations, individuals, any group consisting of two or more of the above entities
