Boots to Business (B2B) grant/cooperative agreement funding enables eligible organizations to provide follow-on online entrepreneurship training, information and resources, and domestic and global delivery of the B2B two-day “Introduction to Entrepreneurship” classroom course to transitioning service members, spouses and family members, and veterans.

What Benefits Are Offered?

A free entrepreneurial education and training program providing an introductory understanding of business ownership through a foundational two-day in-person course and optional online follow-on courses (e.g., 'B2B: Revenue Readiness'). Participants are encouraged to leverage SBA's partner network and various SBA-guaranteed loan programs (including Microloans, 7(a), and 504 loans) for business financing, which generally range from $500 to $5.5 million and come with competitive terms and counseling.

Who Is Eligible?

Region: participating military installations across Continental United States (CONUS), participating military installations Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS)

Demographics: service members, military spouses, National Guard, Reserve

Other Criteria: individuals seeking entrepreneurial education and training
