What Benefits Are Offered?
Funding to support planning activities for neighborhood-level transformative climate community plans. These plans aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and provide local economic, environmental, and health benefits to disadvantaged communities, preparing them for future implementation programs. Application Technical Assistance is also available.
Who Is Eligible?
Industries: climate change, environmental planning, community development
Region: California, disadvantaged communities
Demographics: Tribal communities, low-income communities, disadvantaged communities
Other Criteria: Eligible Lead Applicants: California Native American Tribes, Tribally-owned nonprofits, IRC 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organizations, public agencies, local agencies, special districts, joint powers authorities, public utilities, local publicly owned utilities, or mutual water companies., Project Areas must be designated as disadvantaged communities per TCC Guidelines, contiguous, and may be any size and shape., At least one Co-Applicant is required., Focus on neighborhood-level transformative climate community plans.
