Funding for multi-benefit projects designed to improve community economics, health, equity, public realm, and water resources within the Lower LA River corridor, aligning with the LLARRP, drought response, and water resiliency goals.
Who Is Eligible?
Industries: environmental, water management, community development, public works
Region: Lower LA River corridor, within 1.5 miles of the main stem or tributary of the Lower LA River
Other Criteria: Nonprofit organizations with a 501(c)(3) designation, Public agencies (State agencies, Federal agencies, Local public agencies including City or county, Water districts, School districts, Certified local conservation corps), Tribal entities recognized on the current US Federal Register or the Native American Heritage Commission as a California Native American tribe, Joint Powers Authority (JPA), Projects must be consistent with the Lower LA River Revitalization Plan (LLARRP), Projects must support immediate drought response and long-term water resiliency, Preference for projects with secured matching funding
