Funding for research projects focused on Atlantic sea scallop and monkfish fisheries. Research priorities include industry-based resource surveys, scallop resource enhancement, scallop biology, improving harvest yield, reducing bycatch, impacts from offshore wind energy development, alternative stock assessment models, CPUE index development, life history and stock structure, gillnet and bottom trawl bycatch reduction, and monkfish market improvement research.
