Grants to support multi-benefit projects focused on improving community economics, health, equity, public realm, and water resources along and in the vicinity of the Lower Los Angeles River. Funding will specifically support projects aligning with the LLARRP, immediate drought response, and long-term water resilience. Funds are delivered through advances and reimbursements.
Who Is Eligible?
Industries: environmental, water infrastructure, community development, public health
Region: Lower LA River corridor (within 1.5 miles of main stem or tributary of the Lower LA River)
Other Criteria: Nonprofit organizations (with 501(c)(3) designation), Public Agencies (State agencies, Federal agencies, Local public agencies including City or county, Water districts, School districts, Certified local conservation corps), Tribal Governments (entities recognized on current US Federal Register or Native American Heritage Commission as a California Native American tribe), Joint Powers Authority (JPA), Projects must align with the Lower Los Angeles River Revitalization Plan (LLARRP), Projects must address immediate drought response and long-term water resilience
