Who Is Eligible?
Industries: environmental conservation, water management, urban planning, agriculture
Region: Lower LA River corridor, considered within 1.5 miles of the main stem or tributary of the Lower LA River
Other Criteria: Eligible Applicants: Nonprofit organizations (501(c)(3) designation), Public Agencies (State, Federal, Local including City/county, Water districts, School districts, Certified local conservation corps, Joint Powers Authority (JPA)), Tribal Governments (Federally recognized or on California Native American Heritage Commission's California Tribal Consultation List), Projects should be consistent with the Lower LA River Revitalization Plan, Projects must achieve at least four or more of the thirteen specific Proposition 1 objectives (e.g., protecting watersheds, implementing climate change adaptation, enhancing urban creeks, assisting water-related agricultural sustainability), All proposed projects must improve water quality supply, create, enhance and improve a reliable water supply and/or restore an important species and habitat, A Concept Proposal is required as the first application phase, Preference given to projects with secured matching funding
