Fellowships are intended to promote food security and economic growth in eligible countries by educating a new generation of agricultural scientists, increasing scientific knowledge and collaborative research to improve agricultural productivity, and extending that knowledge to users and intermediaries in the marketplace.

Other Criteria: citizen of an eligible country, fluent in English, completed a Master’s or higher degree, in the early or middle stage of career, at least two years of practical experience, employed by a university, government agency or research entity in home country, demonstrates intention to continue working in home country after fellowship, scientists, researchers, or policymakers
