What Benefits Are Offered?
Monetary awards for individual faculty members to recognize exceptional postsecondary teaching in food and agricultural sciences. Funds are disbursed to the recipient's college or university to strengthen instructional programs.
Who Is Eligible?
Industries: agriculture, natural resources, veterinary sciences, human sciences, food and agricultural sciences
Region: United States, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Republic of the Marshall Islands, Republic of Palau
Other Criteria: faculty member at a college or university, holds a full-time appointment with sustained and continuing responsibility for undergraduate and/or graduate teaching, exhibits sustained, meritorious, and exceptional teaching at the postsecondary level, must complete and submit a nomination packet, For National and Regional awards: more than seven years of experience in higher education teaching, For Early Career Teacher awards: no more than seven years of experience in higher education teaching and demonstrated commitment to a career in teaching
