Other Criteria: Institutions of higher education, nonprofit organizations, commercial organizations, foreign institutions, foreign organizations, state governments, local governments, Indian tribal governments, projects promoting recovery of protected sea turtle species, projects with linkages to the Pacific Islands region, projects relevant to NOAA Fisheriesโ management and recovery obligations under the Endangered Species Act, projects supporting Western Pacific leatherback sea turtle management and conservation, projects supporting sea turtle management and conservation in Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia) and Japan, projects focusing on fishery bycatch, nesting beach monitoring, poaching reduction, and/or illegal sea turtle wildlife trade
