Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act Temporary Bridge Program
Department Of Agriculture, Forest Service
Provide direct federal support to States and Indian Tribes to establish rental programs for temporary bridges, bridge mats, or other temporary water crossing structures, to minimize stream bed disturbance on non-Federal land and Federal land. The program includes funding to States and Indian Tribes for purchase of short and medium span temporary metal and timber bridge and Roadway mats. Programs may include rental, no-cost rental, and rent-to-own options.

Other Criteria: private businesses, for-profit organizations, non-profit organizations, state governments, local governments, institutions of higher education, public utility districts, fire districts, conservation districts, school districts, Active System for Award Management (SAM) registration required, Grants.gov accounts required, Projects must advance innovative wood uses, expand wood-based construction, grow U.S. wood energy markets, or increase forest product processing capacity, Projects should support long-term, sustainable management of National Forest System lands and other forest lands, and strengthen rural economies by utilizing forest byproducts, For Community Wood Grant: projects installing thermally led community wood energy systems or building innovative wood product manufacturing facilities, with an emphasis on assisting sawmills in economically challenged areas to retool or add advanced technology, For Wood Products Infrastructure Assistance Grant: projects establishing, reopening, retrofitting, expanding, or improving sawmills or wood-processing facilities that purchase and process byproducts of ecosystem restoration projects, especially near federal or Indian lands in high fire/insect/disease risk areas
