The Joint Fire Science Program (JFSP) aims to provide funding and science delivery for studies associated with managing wildland fire, fuel, and fire-impacted ecosystems. It was established by Congress in 1998 and is a partnership of six federal agencies, including the USFS, BIA, BLM, NPS, USFWS, and U.S. Geological Survey.
