Provides competitive grants to colleges and universities to fund scholarships, mentorship, and experiential learning opportunities for students from diverse backgrounds pursuing Bachelor’s degrees in FANH Sciences or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees, to increase diversity in the food and agricultural workforce.

Who Is Eligible?

Industries: Food, Agriculture, Natural Resources, Human Sciences, Veterinary Medicine

Other Criteria: Land-grant Institutions, Colleges and universities having significant minority enrollments, Other colleges and universities, Institutes or research foundations maintained by an eligible college or university, Institutions that confer a bachelor’s or D.V.M. degree in at least one of the disciplines in the FANH sciences, Two-year colleges may be eligible if a baccalaureate-level institution is the applicant and an articulation agreement exists, Must serve students from diverse backgrounds
