Grant funding provided by the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) to support eligible organizations in encouraging college students to serve as nonpartisan poll workers or assistants, and/or to engage in service day activities to strengthen democracy and civic engagement. A total of $1 million in discretionary grant funding was awarded for the program across two separate grant programs: the HAVCP Poll Worker Grant and the HAVCP Service Day Mini-Grant.
