To expand the delivery of conservation technical assistance to support grazing planning and conservation practice implementation, education, on-farm/ranch demonstrations, farmer networks, and workforce training projects to improve resilience. GLCI is a competitive grant program offered through an annual notice of funding opportunity.

Funding is often integrated with and leveraged through core NRCS conservation programs (e.g., Environmental Quality Incentives Program - EQIP, Conservation Stewardship Program - CSP, Agricultural Management Assistance - AMA, Regional Conservation Partnership Program - RCPP).
