What Is This Program?

SERDP/ESTCP Projects are funded annually in seven areas: (1) PFAS, (2) other chemicals of concern, (3) installation energy and water, (4) testing and training lands management, (5) natural hazards, (6) next-generation materials, and (7) UXO. Demonstration at operational to landscape scales are a priority for transitioning tools and technology from prototypes to the end user communities that support and sustain the warfighter. Legacy Program The Legacy Program does not currently have an active request for proposals but nonetheless can accept proposals emailed to the program office. Funding is awarded to high priority, nationally or regionally significant, natural and cultural resources projects that support military readiness and enhance conservation. More information on applying is provided below. REPI Program The REPI Program sustains military installation operations through cost-sharing agreements that prevent incompatible development, reduce regulatory restrictions, and increase military installation resilience. By avoiding land use conflicts in areas outside installations, the REPI Program safeguards the militaryโ€™s ability to use existing facilities, avoids costly workarounds, and ensures warfighter access to uninterrupted training.
