What Is This Program?

Defense Manufacturing Community Support Program: Funding was not appropriated in Fiscal Year 2025, and no awards were made under this program. Public Schools on Military Installations: Funding is by invitation only on the basis of available appropriations through grants awarded to Local Education Agencies to correct capacity and condition deficiencies for K-12 schools based on prioritization from the Department of War Public Schools on Military Installations Priority List. These project investments provide for the planning, design, and construction necessary to correct the identified deficiencies at these schools. The scope of construction ranges from major modernization and space addition to complete replacement. In Fiscal Year 2025, 9 project awards were made totaling $259.3M in federal funding.
