Long-term funding (10 years, with possible extension) and guidance for collaborative, landscape-scale forest restoration projects on National Forest System lands. Funding may cover up to 50% of implementation and monitoring costs. Projects aim to enhance forest health, improve resilience, and reduce wildfire risk.

Industries: forestry, natural resource management, conservation, wildfire management
Region: United States (specifically US National Forests and Grasslands)
Other Criteria: Collaborative proposals developed by US Forest Service employees and their community partners, Projects must have clear landscape restoration objectives, Completed planning in the proposed project areas on Forest Service managed land, Landscape-scale restoration strategy including at least 50,000 acres, Projects must align with criteria in the authorizing legislation, Commitment to 15 years of multi-party monitoring, Partners can include forest industries, private landowners, state, local, and tribal governments, and local communities
