The overall goal of the award is to advance the Nation’s position as a global leader in the semiconductor industry and other critical and emerging technologies. To achieve this goal, the award recipient shall establish and manage a CHIPS R&D Science and Technology Fellowship Program that cultivates the next generation of scientific and technical leaders who will contribute to U.S. competitiveness and economic resilience.
