Comprehensive compensation package including base monthly salary (ranging from $268.96 for part-time E-1 to over $10,000 for full-time O-6 in 2025, varying by rank, years of service, and component), enlistment bonuses up to $60,000, low-cost health and dental insurance, housing and food allowances, up to 100% tuition assistance (Post 9/11 GI Bill, Montgomery GI Bill, Air Force Tuition Assistance Program), retirement plans (including Thrift Savings Plan and eligibility to retire after 20 years), 30 days of paid vacation annually, student loan repayment options, VA Home Loan eligibility (Air National Guard), and access to on-base recreation and retail facilities.

Industries: military, science and technology, healthcare, aviation and flight, maintenance and repair
Region: United States citizens/residents
Other Criteria: Must be in good health and pass military entrance physical evaluation (MEPS), Must meet specific height and weight requirements (e.g., minimum five pounds under max weight for most roles), Educational and professional experience requirements vary by role (e.g., officer roles may require college/graduate degrees), Be of eligible enlistment age (also opportunities for youth auxiliary and post-retirement service)
