The purpose of this program is to establish and operate Agriculture Innovation Centers that provide technical assistance and services to agricultural producers to help them develop and market value-added agricultural products. Performance measures for awards are established at the time of award and are customized to each project.

Grants to Centers that provide business, market, organizational, financial, process, and product development services, as well as value chain coordination, to Agricultural Producers seeking to develop and market Value-Added Agricultural Products. Centers may also provide sub-grants up to $5,000 to agricultural producers for these services.

Who Is Eligible?

Industries: agriculture

Other Criteria: Commercial Organizations, Indian Tribes, Institutions of Higher Education, Local Governments, Nonprofit Organizations, State Governments, Required to provide matching funds for at least one-third of the total project budget, Must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM)
