The demonstration project provides advanced information‑technology training to Job Corps‑eligible students to help them enter high‑demand, well‑paid IT careers. The project serves Job Corps students interested in pursuing modern IT skills and industry‑recognized credentials. Through this demonstration, awardees implement and test new approaches to delivering IT instruction directly on Job Corps centers, expanding students’ opportunities to gain relevant skills, employer connections, and stronger pathways into the IT workforce. The program is no longer making new awards, but funded projects are still actively reporting expenditures.
